< Generous;; If Silve was down to his last dollar and someone else was hungry, he would give them the money so that they could eat, giving up his own chance to do so, all because he can't stand to see someone else suffer, and as such, he would relinquish everything he has for the benefit of someone else in need. < Caring;; Even if he won't come right out and say it - er, show it, rather - Silve actually tends to be quite the kind-hearted individual, willing to do whatever it takes in order to show people, sometimes even complete strangers, that things are never as bad as they might seem, and he often thinks nothing of doing a quick sketch for them and leaving it with them to make them smile regardless of the fact that his father never likes him just giving his art away like it's nothing. < Intelligent;; Silve has always been a rather gifted individual when it came to intelligence, and although he might be at a disadvantage from being deaf, he hasn't let that stop him, and in fact, some could say that it was this disadvantage that has given him the drive to better himself so intently. < Patient;; Silve is not the sort of person who would act rashly just to get results, willing to put in however much time might be required in order to accomplish something, and it is actually this quality about him that allowed him to learn how to learn how to lipread on his own through the use of watching online music videos and studying their lip movements and comparing it to subtitles. < Careful;; Believe it or not, Silve is actually quite cautious, not liking to do thinks without putting in a fair amount of thought before he does them, and it is actually this trait that leads him to rarely speak or make noise, not wanting others to think him stupid for mispronouncing a word or being too loud without him knowing it. < Emotional;; Even if Silve doesn't like to express things verbally very often and he keeps parts of himself locked away, he also is very in touch with his feelings, which come streaming out of him into his artwork and often communicate to people when his own words fail him. < Quiet;; Despite being unable to hear himself, Silve is actually rather good at maintaining his quiet, well-known among his small family for being a "ninja" - when he's not tripping over himself, rather - not to mention that the rare occasions for which he speaks more often than not leaves him with a quiet whisper due to an irrepressible fear that he will be too loud and not realize it. > Clumsy;; As might be imagined from someone who can no longer hear the delicate functionings of the world, Silve tends to have a lot of problems with his balance, and it's not uncommon for the boy to be a flailing mess of limbs, dropping things and accidentally running into objects as well as finding tripping hazards in otherwise innocent objects > Withdrawn;; Most would label Silve's behavior antisocial, including his own father, but the reality of things is that the boy is just an introvert who isn't as keen to be out interacting with the world every day, instead preferring to remain in his little realm working with his art in peace. > Depressed;; Though Silve wouldn't show it to the average acquaintance, the boy actually holds a fair amount of hatred for parts of himself, and though it's rare for him to hurt himself, he also has a habit of skipping meals or clawing himself from time to time - the main way this trait comes out of himself, actually, is through his art, the majority of which has dark and/or tragic imagery. > Stubborn;; Give Silve a challenge, especially one that he thinks would be difficult because of his disability, and he will not rest until he has overcome it, something that not only narrows his focus but can often impede his own productivity since he would rather struggle through what he's doing than admit that his independence is little more than a facade and that he needs help sometimes. > Prideful;; Despite the fact that Silve is deaf, he refuses to ask for help, and in fact, he often views the very idea of having to have someone go out of their way to cater to his disability a failure, and as such, he always pushes himself to perform just as well as the other kids regardless of the fact that he may actually need the help. > Perfectionist;; When Silve sets goals for himself in life, he demands from himself nothing short of absolute perfection, and whenever he feels that he has fallen short of that, he will usually beat himself up for failure, holding it over his own head for a prolonged period of time or until he fixes it to his satisfaction. > Eccentric;; Some might think the young artist odd in his way of looking at the world, but in reality, Silve is just one of those artistic types, used to thinking in nonlinear ways, and so while this can lead him to help create stunning drawings, it can also cripple him in leaving him to think that things will happen differently than they do. |

> Silve is a third year student at Rosewood Academy. He wishes that he could hold a part time job as this would get him away from his father's ranting and mood swings, but sadly, since he is deaf, he is afraid that any job he takes would only get himself or others hurt. Instead, he sells his art to a small gallery who resell it and give him some of the profit. > Silve is a Blank Sacrifice who yearns to be accepted for what he is and allowed to become a permanent part of a unit. Due to his deafness, he was paired with an older fighter, Matvey Romanov, so that the other's experience would cover for the fact that he cannot hear and rarely speaks at all and allow them to fight as a proper unit, in this case Timeless. > Silve still has a pair of soft cream-colored ears that usually hide beneath his cropped hair, along with a swishing beige tail, and he has no plans of losing them any time soon since his father would likely flip out on him and punish him for it. He is homosexual, attracted to mostly older males or close friends of his, but has yet to come out to his family or friends, afraid of what they would say to him should they determine the truth. < Silve was born Silve Dorian Andreas, and he was born a normal child. He responded to sound, and he was excited to interact with the world. His parents adored him greatly, and he was often described as a "happy-go-lucky kid". As he grew older, he grew a little more sullen, but his parents didn't pay it much mind, thinking it just a phase. He displayed a talent for art from the age of twelve, when he entered a sketch into a small contest and earned an honorable mention, and after that, his parents attempted to enroll him in various schools to encourage the talent to improve, which was something that he resented slightly. He improved as the years went by, and he and his parents first began to fight shortly after they enrolled him in the first school, the boy wanting to improve his talent in his own time and they only wanting to help him. He grew increasingly rebellious, which only brought out the controlling side of his father, who was raised in a military household and often voiced that if he was given a belt, the boy would soon learn his place. His mother would usually soften, and as such, it was usually to her that the redhead would run to when his father grew harsh. And then came the day when the pair were in the car driving home from another one of the art schools after the budding artist had been expelled for badmouthing a teacher after she criticized his artwork, and when his mother turned to yell at him for "not hearing what you want to is no excuse for yelling at her" they were hit by a truck. The accident report revealed that the boy's mother, who was pronounced dead on arrival to the emergency room, was responsible, having strayed from her lane on a blind corner, but that wasn't the problem. Silve had been sitting in the passenger's seat, and the force of the airbag had left him hearing nothing. He wouldn't respond to noises, and it was ruled that the immense pressure had left him deaf, possibly for the rest of his life - he was only fourteen. His father mourned his mother, and Silve began to view his deafness as divine punishment: after all, how could he hear things that he didn't want to when he couldn't hear at all? He retreated into himself and began to draw more, though what he drew was decidedly more dark and tragic than before. And yet, for all of the gloom, he seemed to hit his game, the art becoming more beautiful. To make ends meet, his father began to sell off some of the pieces, but the tension in the household soon began to turn onto the boy. After all, if it hadn't been for Silve, his mother wouldn't have been driving in the first place, making it impossible for her to have died. His father began to search for ways to tear the boy down, begrudging him every breath he took in, and Silve often viewed school as an escape from the verbal abuse since no matter how bad things got, his father would never raise his hand against his son - his mother wouldn't have wanted that, and the memory kept the sharp fights from turning physical. When Silve found out he was a blank Sacrifice at the age of fifteen, he accepted it far better than others, shrugging it off as one more thing he would have to fight for in a long list of things to fight for, and turned into his drawing. It was another escape, one that he could control, and that gave him a lot of his confidence back. Seeing the improvement around the time of his sixteenth birthday, his therapist decided that, despite the gloom lingering in the boy's art, it would be for the better for the school to find him a fighter, if only to try to give him something to live for and take joy from. It has only been recently that the school has managed to find something they think would be a good fit for him, one Matvey Romanov, and with any luck, so they hope, Matvey will help Silve smile more and maybe even learn to laugh and speak again. |
