< Dedicated;; Felix isn't the kind of person to give up on something, especially when the going gets rough, and he will do whatever it takes in order to be there for his friends and to accomplish what it is that needs to get done. < Upstanding;; If there's one thing that hasn't changed since Felix was young, it would have to be the strong sense of justice imparted into him by his father, a homicide detective, and as a result, he isn't going to disobey the rules, though he might stick up for the little guy if the system isn't working. < Thoughtful;; When Felix does something for someone else, he puts a lot of time and effort into trying to make it absolutely perfect, wanting it to have meaning and importance even years later, so it's not an uncommon event for him to bypass luxury goods and presents to instead get something useful that comes from his heart. < Modest;; Unlike a lot of those whom fame and fortune have smiled upon, Felix actually hasn't suffered from an inflated ego, and in fact, he prefers to earn his roles fair and square, not wanting to deprive someone who deserves it more than he does. < Dependable;; If Felix has given someone his word that he'll get something done, there's no need to worry - the blond will find a way to get it done, no matter how much time or effort it might take - because he's not the type to go back on his word. > Perverted;; Felix's mind jumps to rather dirty conclusions rather quickly, and while his head might not be as dirty as some, he has more than his fair share of kinks, and he's not afraid to admit to them either, though he's been trying to rein them in, if only so he won't scare off coworkers during a scene, though he has no qualms with turning this side on a lover. > Impulsive;; When Felix has decided that he wants something, he usually gets it, and while thankfully most of his demands are reasonable, he's also not above randomly buying chocolate truffles or some other treat and indulging himself on them, which, although worrying, is not nearly as hurtful as it could be given his income from acting - no, the problem here is in the romantic sense, because if Felix wants to do something, it's going to happen whether his partner wants it right then or not. > Shameless;; Entirely a direct result of acting, especially as Richard Veronique in the show "Crimson Dreams Academy", Felix isn't afraid to show skin, and not only will he think nothing of taking his shirt off to show off a tightly toned chest and strong arms from practicing with his katana, he also sees no problem with divulging some rather personal details about his sex life or even of getting a little frisky with his personal displays of affection. > Scatter-brained;; Perhaps a result of being an avid writer in what free time he has or of all the roles he's had to play over the years, Felix can be a little forgetful at times, getting confused and turned around rather easily, and though he's able to remember the important stuff, he sometimes has problems with getting lost in his thoughts or of going to the store and forgetting more than a few important items he needed. > Withdrawn;; Although he's opened up a lot in the years since he watched his father kill a bank robber before his eyes when he was twelve, Felix still has quite a deal of masks and layers for people to get past, his smile a near-impregnable shield to keep out a prying public and even concerned friends as he keeps as much of his life as private as possible. > Workaholic;; Felix adores what he does for a living, often spending hours and hours on end every week putting in extra time to make a scene perfect, even going as far as to memorize his lines and even those of his fellow actors, and the result of this is that he will often neglect other matters of his life that might be more important than making the next filming or recording of whatever he's working on absolutely perfect. |

> Felix is an actor. Don't look so surprised, he's not that well-known, though he's on his way up. One of his more famous roles is the one he's best known for: playing the cheerful vampire Richard Veronique on the hit television series about vampires at a boarding school, "Crimson Dreams Academy". He also does voiceacting, having played the voice of the tsundere Indigo in the series "Rev It GO!" and the bouncy boy Tobias Ramsey in the series "Wrath of Anubis", among other roles. His true passion, however, is writing, and his room is covered in folded pieces of paper with half-finished story beginnings, his computer desktop scattered with word documents. > Felix is a Blank Fighter who is partnered up with the sacrifice Maximillion Wolcroft, who has the true name of Nameless. He secretly dreads the day that "his" sacrifice will find his other half, if only because he's developed deep feelings for his sacrifice. Aside from his current sacrifice, he has only had one other, an older woman who instructed him and guided him through how to be a fighter up until she found her other half and then gave him to his current sacrifice. > Felix thought he was straight. Really, he did. And then he was paired up with his current sacrifice, and then everything shifted. He found that he couldn't stop staring at that ass, that chest, those hips, and before long, he discovered that he couldn't get it up for girls anymore. That's right. His cute little sacrifice turned him into a homosexual. He doesn't mind so much though. And as for his ears? Well... he lost them a few years back in a night that's since become a drunken blur. But hey, he's pretty sure it was fun, and that's what counts, right? < Felix came from rather humble beginnings. His father was a detective, hard-working and vigilant, always willing to put in the time to try to catch the bad guy, while his mother was a secretary for a law firm. Felix idolized his parents, the young boy rarely found without a smile on his face, his tail perked up and his ears high as he would present his latest art masterpiece of his family to be pinned up on the refrigerator of honor. Sure, the boy wasn't the best artist, but he was cute, and his parents could never stand in the way of those puppy dog eyes. They raised him right, teaching him how to love and be loved, and he was happy and bouncy and carefree as he ran about on the playground. When he was eight, he asked for karate lessons, and when his parents asked why - not that they didn't want to give him the ability to defend himself, mind you, they saw no problem with it, but the request was oddly out of character for the usually carefree boy, especially given that he would cry over accidentally kicking over an ant hill - he reluctantly gave up that he wanted to protect the kids at the playground from a bunch of mean older boys who would come and bully them. His parents traded looks of surprise, neither having expected that Felix's drive for justice would overpower his gentle nature, but they did one better: they signed him up for lessons with the katana. Felix learned quickly, and before long, the other kids at the playground were coming home to tell their parents tales of how the bullies had all been chased away by a blond boy and his trusty stick. He'd get a new one every day, they'd say, and when one breaks, he just brings another one and goes all the harder. He was a defender of justice, and the kids - the ones who weren't bullies, at any rate - adored him, especially when they would play their games of dungeons and dragons. There was always a fight over who would get to have Felix on their side, and usually the blond would have to declare himself a neutral party with a cheerful laugh, or promise to be on the other side next time with a sly wink to the defeated party. Even after he turned ten and it became painfully obvious that he was playing with kids far below his own age group, he'd shrug it away and laugh at any of the adults or older kids who belittled him for it, saying that he liked looking after the little ones, especially since their games were so much more fun than the ones everyone else played. That all changed after one eventful day when he was twelve. Felix was going with his father to the bank, picked up from his katana lessons and then taken out to run some errands for his mother, who was stressed out and working overtime to get things in order at her job, when it happened. A group of robbers came into the bank since it was a slow time and it was only the Ranta boys and the employees inside and tried to hold up the teller next to them. Felix being who he was, he had to fight back for justice, and he drew his katana, boldly declaring that the robbers would have to get past him if they wanted to get the money. The thugs merely smirked and shot at him, and his father had to act quickly, bringing to use his fighter abilities in order to cast a spell to protect his boy. All of a sudden, Felix was thrown into the middle of a fight, and it was one his father could not win, not when it was two complete pairs against him and his gun, not to mention he had to keep his son safe. The boy could only watch in terror as his father narrowly avoided death time and again when he decided to try to copy his father's words when he had protected him. The event had awakened his ability as a fighter, and all of a sudden, it was two against four, not the best odds but ones the boy could handle. It was just like his dungeons and dragons game in a sense, and even if Felix himself had never been a mage, he knew how they "performed" spells, and it was in the same manner in which he did them now. They knocked out first one pair, then the other's sacrifice, but the last fighter wasn't going to go down that easily. He brought up a gun and said he was going to shoot young Felix if they didn't get on the ground that instant, and that was when it happened. To protect his child, Felix's father shot the man in the head. The event had lasting effects on Felix, to be expected. After all, it was enough of a shock to discover that you could perform magic, but to watch a man die in front of you, his last breath spraying blood on your shirt? That was bound to leave it's mark, and indeed, despite the therapy his parents took him to afterwards, Felix became withdrawn, no longer interacting with the friends he'd made. How could he knowing that the "spells" they spoke and threw at each other could, at any moment, become real and very very deadly? He immersed himself in the world of literature, preferring books and fantasies where the endings were all pre-set beforehand, and the people who died were never the ones who mattered. It took him a couple years to make the jump, but eventually he began to take an interest in penning his own, at first wanting to just change endings to suit the images in his head better and then progressing to wanting to create the entire world from scratch. It was his escape, his way of making sense of things, and with his new outlet, he began to become more social again, more like the boy his parents had known before. Seeing as he was coming to terms with things, they asked him if he wanted to enroll in Avalon Academy the following year, and to their surprise, the fourteen year old asked for an immediate transfer, wanting to learn how to control his abilities. Pleasantly surprised, they agreed, and within a month, Felix was a student at Avalon, learning how to fight. The experience opened him back up again. He could be anything he wanted at Avalon, and he found himself gravitating towards the drama and art kids, latching onto their creativity. Before long, he was taking roles in musicals and plays - mostly minor - and helping out behind the scenes. His new friends had brought him back out of his shell, and when he was sixteen, they all decided to goof around and try to fandub a series. At first, they didn't get a lot of attention, and a few of the kids dropped out, so they asked Felix to fill in a role rather than just do the voice editing like he used to. Flattered, he turned them down a few times before he agreed, on the condition that it was only temporary. But as soon as he put on the headset and started recording, it was like he became the character, and the audience loved it. Before long, their fandub was more popular than the actual dub, and the group of friends was dealing with consistent removals from video sites for "copyright infringement". Still, they were stubborn, and eventually the directors of the series had to examine why this fan-made version was so much more popular. They watched a few episodes, not seeing what it was until they got to where Felix had taken over his character. They found that the kid was better, more comfortable in the role than the current actor they used, and so they hunted the boy down, appearing at his door and asking him and his friends to come in and finish out the season. Delighted, his friends accepted at once, but Felix took a while to agree. It wasn't that he wanted more money, but rather, he'd never wanted to be famous, but when his friends asked him to, he agreed. After they'd finished out the series, Felix rather quickly found himself dealing with offers from other directors who had seen his talents and wanted him to take on roles. He turned them all down at first, saying that he'd only done the first one as a favor to his friends, but his parents sat down with him one day. They said that they thought he should take a few of those jobs, not for the money - though they'd be glad that their son had a chance to make a better life for himself - but because they had seen how happy he'd been coming back from recording, and they didn't want to see him losing that. It was that talk that made him realize how much he loved Hollywood, how it could bring to life everyone's hopes and dreams and wildest fantasies, and if things went bad, everything could go back to how it was before without any negative drawbacks, and that was what he'd fallen in love with, the magic and the mystery and the imagination of the business. He took the next handful of offers, content with doing voiceovers, and his coworkers gave glowing reviews, saying that he was a dream to work with, that he'd always come in ready to do his job, and in the booth, he would act with his whole body, not just his voice like some people did. He would work himself to tears when his character would cry, he would bounce about when his character was excited, and he would flail and get flustered when his character would get mad. He acted with his entire body, and when it was all over, it was almost surprising how he could go back to normal Felix. It was about this time that his sacrifice found her partner, but he let her go without a fuss, even laughing and saying that the fighter better take good care of her. He was seventeen, and he was already strained to keep up with school in addition to his jobs. His agent pushed him to withdraw from Avalon and just homeschool himself, but he refused, saying he wanted to keep in touch with his friends. He still got done what he had to, even if it meant he had to stay up to all hours recording and then doing his homework, and it wasn't surprising that he wasn't pressured to gain another sacrifice, if only because that would be a burden on his already overloaded plate. Things remained much the same until he was eighteen and received his first actual acting job. The director of "Crimson Dreams Academy" had worked with him before and, struck by his dedication despite his studies, asked him to take the role of Richard Veronique. Felix agreed to audition, refusing to take the role if someone better was out there, which he thought there was, if only because his experience had previously been confined to voiceacting, and to no one's surprise but his own, he got the role. He was a perfect fit for Richard, and he quickly became popular, especially among fellow Blanks, who took a bit of hope in his rising star despite not having an "other half" so to speak. He received numerous requests to become a sacrifice, but he turned them all down, not wanting to be paired with someone who only wanted him for his money, status, or to fulfill some fantasy. Instead, in his last handful of months at Avalon prior to his graduation, he was paired with another boy, Maximillion Wolcroft. Felix was a good fighter, doing everything he could to strengthen their bond whenever he had the time between his schoolwork and his recording and filming and everything else that came with his job, but he began to notice an increasing attraction to his sacrifice once the stress of schoolwork was off his plate with graduation. A little alarmed at the fact - he'd always assumed he was straight, and this was the first guy he'd ever been attracted to - he tried to distance himself a little to give himself time to sort it all out, but for once, his acting gave him the answers he needed. Richard was supposed to have a love affair with this one vampire woman in order to protect the academy, but when the time came for him to do the scene, he found to his shock that the attractive actress that they had picked didn't even turn him on in the slightest. He shoved his discomfort with the revelation aside in order to finish out the scene with as much professional dignity as he could, but it was official. He was attracted to his sacrifice. After that, he started dropping hints, and for his nineteenth birthday, he got a kiss from his sacrifice, which sent him into the whirlwind of a love affair destined to end in tragedy when the other finds his true fighter, but one that Felix can't quite resist falling into anyway. |
