< Brave;; Most people would never want to get within five feet of a big cat, too afraid of possibly getting mauled, but Sora is confident enough and thinks nothing of getting close enough to let not just one but three large big cats flop over him and work with him, viewing them as little more than over-sized cats. < Confident;; Sora has to have some sort of faith in his own abilities - otherwise, the fact that he interacts with large big cats that still have their teeth sharp and their claws still right there in their paws would end in tragedy because, as he always says, if you have any small bit of doubt in yourself, you can hardly expect them to have confidence in you as an alpha male. < Firm;; When Sora says something, he's not going to back down without a fight, his tone just as strong as a stone wall, and that's a trait that is good to have since it ensures that his big cats are going to obey him, not to mention that it helps him state his opinion in tough situations that he might be in. < Perfectionist;; Despite the fact that some people would say that this trait is a bad one, Sora will not rest until things perfectly conform to the image he has in his head, something that actually benefits him since if he does not assert his absolute dominance over his three big cats, they could easily turn on him and tear him limb from limb. < Obedient;; When he's not cracking the whip - metaphorically and literally - over his three big cats, Sora is surprisingly content to follow someone else's lead, letting another person dictate the orders that he will follow and only sticking up for himself in things that he feels extremely passionately about such as his relationship to his animal charges or the idea of losing his ears to anyone save his other half. < Dedicated;; If there's ever a word to describe Sora, loyal would definitely be the one, the lion-tamer having traveled with his three feline charges when they were sold to the circus, become a zookeeper to take care of them when they were leased to the zoo, and then rejoined the circus without a second thought when they took his cats back, faithful to the end. > Easily flustered;; As might be imagined from a twenty-three year old who still has his ears, Sora can become rather easily embarrassed, and if he walks in on an awkward situation, he tends to turn bright red and hide his face in something, pretending to busy himself in some type of work in the vague hope that no one will call him on his blush. > Trusting;; Okay, this trait isn't especially apparent, given that Sora keeps a tight grasp on his personal information, but when you realize exactly how easily he finds it to sprawl out with a large big cat capable of ending his life on top of him, it becomes apparent that perhaps he has a bit too much faith in things that he should be more wary of. > Stand-offish;; Despite the fact that, in a chance meeting, Sora comes off as rather friendly, prolonged contact with the male will yield the conclusion that he is very particular about how close he lets others come to true self, and unsurprisingly, as a result he is quite reluctant to cough up information that he feels is too personal in nature to tell the other party. > Defensive;; Accuse Sora of something he didn't do or feels he shouldn't feel guilty for and the generally easy-going lion-tamer will become one of the raging beasts he usually controls so effectively, roaring and slashing his claws about until the person gets the message to back off, and even if he's in the wrong, usually he will only admit to such on his own terms. > Solitary;; Many people say that Sora doesn't spend a whole lot of time with people, and the truth is, they're right - the male prefers the company of his three big cats, viewing them as his friends and family, and since he would never do something to possibly hurt someone with his cats, he chooses to avoid most contact as a result. > Prankster;; Although Sora would never do something to scare someone using his precious big cats, viewing it as cruel and unusual punishment to have them roar or take a run at other people, that by no means translates to that he doesn't love a good joke at someone else's expense, though thankfully most of his pranks are fairly harmless and not done so to be life-threatening. |

> Sora is a lion-tamer for the circus troupe run by Dawson Knight; he filled the same role under the boy's father two years earlier, when the original troupe was together, and he is responsible for his three charges - even during the two years where he worked as a zookeeper to remain close to them - of a pair of Bengal tigers, Remy and Reinhart, and an African lion named Hannibal. > Sora is the Sacrifice for the unit Faultless, which circles his neck rather like a collar. Despite the fact that he will often joke that Hannibal, the lion, is his other half or that his other half was a young acrobat with a thing for blonds named Zaknafain in his old circus troupe, he has not found his other half yet, though he does take an interest in such a thing. > Despite the fact that Sora was quite popular among circus-goers, he still has his pretty pair of ears, they and the accompanying tail similar enough to a lion's that it often leads Hannibal to treat them as if they belong to another lion. Sora playfully labels himself as bisexual despite the fact that all of his sexual escapades have been with males, but that doesn't mean he's above flirting with woman. < Sora's mother gave birth to him out of wedlock, and since she could never take care of him, he instead grew up under his uncle's guardianship. His uncle was an animal tamer for large cats, training them for Hollywood movies, and Sora soon got in on it. He partially trained his two tigers, Remy and Reinhart, alongside his uncle, and when Hannibal was born, it was his responsibility to train her, hence why he has such a close bond with the lion. He first began when he was thirteen, and when he was seventeen, his uncle sold three cats. Sora, unable to see them go, decided to go with them, and his uncle was all right with letting him go with the cats to the circus for the island of Clearwater since he was an old friend of the old lion-tamer. Sora spent a year working with the cats under the old tamer, and then when he turned eighteen, he was given a new task: his old senior was retiring while he still had all his limbs, leaving Sora to become the head lion-master. Sora was a loyal part of the circus for three years up until Dawson's father, the ringmaster, had a heart attack and passed away. Sora, having been attached to the cats, accompanied them to the zoo when they were leased, spending his next two years there. When Dawson decided that he was going to try to restart the circus then, the cats had to be retrieved first, and naturally, Sora was going to go along with his charges, whom he had kept on form by working on them after zoo hours, the three of them having been his only charges. He was the first to rejoin the circus, and he called the old circus members that he still had contact information with to try to get the circus together again. After all, they'd done it all once, and with a new ringmaster, what was to stop them from doing it again? |
